I've been lifting three times a week for almost six months. In that time I've missed a workout twice. I've decided that I'm going to take a break from dieting and working out for the next week. My body needs a break and my metabolism needs a reboot. My left hip area has been bothering me a little bit after doing lunges. All signs point to me needing to give it a break for a while. Psychologically this has been the hardest thing to do in my entire transformation process. Not going to the gym sucks! Or rather, not getting to enjoy the way I feel after a workout and the way my body looks when I'm lifting regularly sucks! After my break I'll return to carb cycling and I'll finish Fat Loss I and move right into Fat Loss II. I feel that I still need to drop about five pounds of fat before I'm ready to do a slow, clean bulk. That's it for now.. I'm still planning on moving the rest of my posts over to this journal but I've been procrastinating.
